What I learned: During my observation I gained knowledge on how a preschool classroom should be set up and the different things they do in a preschool setting. I currently work with toddlers so it was nice to see how a different age group is ran. Even though I observed a Presschool room, I created my lesson plan for toddlers. While creating this lesson plan it gave me insight on how a lesson plan is created. Taking time to think about my students and what they will be interested in helped me to understand my children better.

How will this help me in the future: This will help me in the future because I want to be a preschool teacher, getting the chance to sit and observe a preschool setting will help me see how a preschool classroom is suppose to be ran. For work, I have to turn in weekly lesson plans for my class and lesson plans for the lesson plan committee, being able to create a lesson plan gave me ideas for how I will create them for work.
