Reflection & Self Assessment

Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a teacher.  My dream has always been to graduate highschool and go to Spelmen College, but the universe had other plans for me. After high school I took time off and worked in retail for a while, I had two children by the age of 23 and that is when I got a job working in a daycare center. Working there made my love for teaching come back and I decied to start classes at CSN. I had a couple of things that stopped me from doing good in class, so  I had to take a break from school. Now I am 29, married with 5 children and I am working in another childcare center where I have been named Teacher Of The Year at my job. I made the decision to go back to school and complete my degree in ECE and I am so happy that I took a leap of faith and started this new journey in my life.
